Here is an article that shows how even western science is slowly falling into a line that skates around the same idea.
his theory is credible to some extent
in places it seems far fetched
I do believe that having a positive attitude is essential in life
and also i am spirtiualist and that the mind and body are defintely symbiotic
with a healthy mind comes a healthy body

The human mind is a physical process, and directly tied to matter - ie. neurons - and so some of what the guy says is true. Consciousness is a part of the body, and inseperable from it. While life expectancy is increasing, I don't think it's possible to escape death by simply not believing in it. His healthy diet and exercise will certainly go a long way towards proonging his life, but there is no escaping the fact that the body ages. Some cells do not regenerate - such as those in the lens of the eye - and as we age our DNA also takes a battering.
But, could you not say that you are dead to the form you once had, as you have none (or at least few) of the memories that it had?
When you die, you will sleep, and you will remember nothing. Nothing of your past, or the future, nore friends, family and loved ones.
If you cant recall your whole life, every second, then what makes you think you will have a recal in death?

Well Raz you could argue quantum mechanics, Spacetime or big bounce to explain your ideas whitch is more then Keeper can do. The only thing is is confirmation biased you tend to look for thing that agree with you i would use keeper again but then that would not be fair on keeper. All i can say is that consciousness is not a special thing it were just like a computer now if we were in a classical universe i could straight forward argue we will die but were in a quantum universe and that makes reasoning harder. If somebody put a gun to my head and says do you die i would proberly say no but that could be confirmation biased.
