Thread title just meant to garner attention.
It seems as though Satan is given such a bad rap in the bible. From what I understand.. Satan is just an angel.. a fallen angel yes but.. just an angel.
I understand duality and how god is supposedly the face of good while satan is the face of evil. But.. wouldn't that make satan just as powerful as god himself? Let go of this disney channel nickelodeon good always win idea because while instilling good morals in children is good.. this is life outside your television set and good doesn't always win.
Christians may be shitting their pants right now but seriously.. the only ones who actually "buff up" satans power status in the bible are Christians anyway. Satan never spoke on his own behalf for what things he could do other than tempting Jesus in the wilderness.
My point is.. well question really.. Is Satan really as powerful as we've all heard? If not, then why is it that many reinforce his mighty power but deem him less powerful than god if they are polar opposites and one is supposedly where all good stems and the other supposedly where all evil stems.
Christians buff up this guys resume and blame everything bad that happens to them or others on satan.
Seems like this guy gets more of a bad rap than black youth in harlem. Presupposing he exists, maybe he's not all that bad a guy? Afterall, the Illuminati (as far as I know) believe Satan was the good guy and God was the evil bastard for trying to shield truth and wisdom from them. Whereas Satan was the bringer of truth and understanding.. freeing humans from drone/slave-like "yes-man" behavior. Giving them choices.
Just something I was thinking.
