It has nothing to do with the bible. It was a reference to the British TV show Dragon's Den. "I'm out" was a common phrase used, hence the gif.

Is God infinitely powerful? If so, what does that mean? Is he bound by any rules of reality? If not, then he doesn't have to allow suffering to exist.
Suffering is a mechanism that evolved because it works as natural punishment against maladaptive behaviors, though it sometimes just makes things suck and doesn't help anything.
I'm atheist. Sorry but I seen the first post as silly and I am not trying to offend you or anybody else.
If you believe the old testament is true and that is your reason for believing in the religion over others, then you have not given it enough thought. Muslims, Jews, Christians, and even Mormons all follow the old testament. So even if that book was correct, any of those four could be true.
Of course it isn't true. We can logically prove the stuff in the bible didn't happened. We can historically prove the stuff in the bible didn't happen. And we can scientifically prove the stuff in the bible didn't happen. It is actually very easy to prove Christianity isn't real because it has a lot of illogical superstitious beliefs that no modern people believe. If you take a lot of stuff that happened in the bible and changed the context so a person wasn't aware it was in the bible, they would never believe the stories. The only reason they do is because they were told repeatedly over and over for long periods of time the bible was true, and so were brainwashed into believing it.
For the sake of argument though, let say it is correct. Why would God provide evidence that he isn't real, then judge you harshly because you believe the evidence? Is god anti thinking? He puts evidence in the world to trick people who think and he rewards people who worship him out of ignorance? Sounds like he is a douchebag.
And really, that is what it comes down to. The god of the bible doesn't exist, and if he did then he is a douchebag. Why would you worship him? If the god of the bible is real then hell is probably a lot nicer than heaven because at least god isn't there. There is a disconnect between what modern Christians think of god and what the bible says. Modern Christians want you to think god is a loving being but the bible is very clear that God doesn't give two shits about his followers and he can and will kill his followers for his own amusement.
Fact is, if you believe in god you are just as likely to get punished for worshiping him as for not worshiping him. He is as cruel to his followers just as he is to everyone else, and if he is going to kill and torture you even if you worship him then you might as well not even bother.
It appears as though knight31 is continuing to spread Satanism across DV. I demand that this is put an end to. I understand freedom of speech but this Satanist is starting to just spam his devil worship at this point. Frankly I'm starting to get really offended. At least keep your Satanic BS to one thread, dude.
If I tell you not to jump off a cliff, is that a fear based method or sensible advice? If you don't accept the Lord what do you have left? Nothing, nothing at all. What would you bible look like other than blank pages? The bible is the written testimony of god. If you don't believe in it, You are calling god a liar.
What Jesus teachers is in the bible, I'm sure any church can give you a copy of it if you ask them.Quote:
These malicious men decided to create a formal central church. This church would have a priesthood that followed political dynamics instead of spiritual ones. The head of the church was literally the voice of God on earth-which is nothing that Jesus taught.
Anyone who reads the bible and follows it and obeys it is not going to murder an innocent person, so don't be ridiculous.Quote:
And the church itself would be the keys to heaven. [/B]This meant that those who did not comply with the church's authority were damned to hell. This also made it valid to murder those who did not comply with the church because they were already damned by God.
No-one dictates what goes in the bible but god. You are talking about satans subversion of Christians. not actual Christians.Quote:
The catholic church was formed by murdering those who did not comply. The entire gnostic line of christianity, which is one of the oldest, was nearly written out of history. These very same people, who justify the murder of those who did not comply, would be the ones who dictated what goes in the bible.
God doesn't dam his people, If you are not for the Lord, I admit you have plenty to fear. realize fear of god and you will realize wisdom.Quote:
Do yourself a favor and give up the need to save atheists from an eternity of damnation. Accept a loving God isn't damning anyone. Reject the lies of the catholic church.
I'll find you something that is more appropriate.Quote:
Find me where Jesus says "those who do not believe in God will suffer in hell for eternity."
John 14:23
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
John 14:6
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Luke 6:37
“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven"
There is reasons for suffering on earth. The existence of god doesn't mean suffering has to be non existent. In god's kingdom however there is no suffering. But we are not in gods kingdom now. This is currently satans kingdom. So it's not surprising that his separation from god would reap suffering.
No-one has disproved the bible. This is wishful thinking.
He doesn't put evidence in the world, that would be pointless and defeat the purpose of giving you a choice. He puts teachings in the world so you may come to god through his word, through his testimony. Then when the Lord comes you will be glad that you were able to follow him, and if you thought he was a liar, then he's not going to be happy about that obviously.Quote:
He puts evidence in the world to trick people who think and he rewards people who worship him out of ignorance? Sounds like he is a douchebag.
So when He arrives are you going to say that to his face? It wouldn't be very good for you getting striked down, because I warned you beforehand it's quite possible I would be laughing at that time. That could be what will happen if don't repent. You don't fear the Lord and yet he has power to do that.Quote:
And really, that is what it comes down to. The god of the bible doesn't exist, and if he did then he is a douchebag.
I guess you will find out if hell is better than heaven, if that's where you want to go.Quote:
Why would you worship him? If the god of the bible is real then hell is probably a lot nicer than heaven because at least god isn't there.
You sure say a lot of blasphemous things. But the Anti-christ who you seem to want to worship will have a more foul mouth than you, and will say worse than that. You sure you want to perish with him?Quote:
Fact is, if you believe in god you are just as likely to get punished for worshiping him as for not worshiping him. He is as cruel to his followers just as he is to everyone else, and if he is going to kill and torture you even if you worship him then you might as well not even bother.
How ridiculous, The bible is not satanic.
I'm going to change the title of the thread because I think it's a little too merciful to say "saving atheists" it would probably be more realistic to change it to "warning athiests" because most of them don't listen so saving them would often be impossible a good percentage of the time, at least until they are on their deathbed. The last few moments before they die might have a better chance.
Ok. I can't edit the title of the thread, I guess a moderator would have to.
*Please start using the Multi-quote button on right side to reply to more than one quote in one reply. Unles that would make your reply a mile long.
Why are there two threads at the top of religion/spirituality both started by the same person about pretty much the exact same thing?
I'm sick of your schizophrenic self-righteous satanism. This better be the last thread like this I see.
Since we are talking about Christianity, I guess you believe that god is the omnipotent being who created the universe?
If he created the universe then he is the reason why we are in the position we are today. Gods reasoning behind letting us suffer at the present cannot be truly explained since he is supposedly on a higher level than us, it could be a million different reasons.
However if he really is in full control and created the universe why would he have allowed us to be the way we are? Why would he have given Adam and Eva the choice to pick the apple from the tree. He is the one who created them, he is the one who gave them their thought. There is no way that god can truly be the being he is described as in the bible.
All this can be justified if he indeed had some other motives, but are you willing to accept that god has other motives than what is portrayed in the bible?
If not, then you are directly working against logic and this thread has no place here in extended discussion.
One thread is enough... :lock:
