Better yet; just cage them!

I went to school in an abstinence-only sex ed area. You are dead wrong that no one thought about sex, everyone thought about it constantly and constantly hated themselves and felt ashamed for thinking "dirty thoughts". Thankfully, I broke out of that ridiculous brainwashing...
You are right that the little 6th and 7th graders don't know the anatomy. Neither did the 8th graders. It wasn't until biology as a high school freshmen that any of us learned about the anatomy unless you had intelligent parents. I remember my biology teacher delivering this rant/speech about how moronic it is to not make the information available as early as 7th grade.
I'm pretty sure Herculea was being satirical.
I learned pretty much everything in third grade just from talking to friends. I don't know how 7th graders wouldn't know about anatomy or sex. How is that even possible?
What's the age of 7th graders?
It's 100% true, Jesus said "Allah". Rush Limbaugh would probably say the same thing that he would say if you told him that Jesus was middle eastern and not white (also true.)
I think everyone should take a history of religion course if they ever get a chance, I did and it was fascinating. The bible is probably one of the most historically important works of all time. It should certainly be taught as part of history, but not as an account of history.
Assuming Jesus existed, though we have no proof.
I see no rational reason why not to tell kids how to have sex? At least we do it here, in schools too.
Well if i ever have kids all i can say is i dont want them out sleeping around and whoring themselves off to their friends
logical or not, my kids wont be having sex at age 13, when they're not even nearly biologically, or mentally, mature enough to handle it
Very true, Ninja, thank you for that.
I use the English rendering of God's unpronouncable name "YHWH"
But, if you look to other parts of the Bible, Jah (or Yah) is a poetic adaptation of "Jehovah" or "Yahweh".
More interesting to me is that when people say "Hallelujah", they're saying: "Praise Yah [God] you people." And "Yah" was used in a lot of names of Israelites and places of Biblical importance.
Where YHWH was found in original manuscripts was where God's NAME (not Title) was found. In later years, his name was removed some 7,000 times and replaced with LORD and simply God.
.........
As for sex not being thought of by youngsters... lol... one can dream of such things, but it's not true.
I myself was thinking of sex before the age of 7 :D
I knew the anatomy of males because I had a baby brother and because my bestfriend thought it was the coolest thing that he could pee purple (because of a medicine) and he showed me
I didn't actually have sex though until I was 17 but that;s because my mom scared the crap out of me about it. Because I have Ehlers Danlos, my doctors and parents feared I would die if I even became pregnant.
My hubby was having sexual fantasies at the age of 6.
i know thats normal to have fantasies and stuff, i did too...but i mean kids, if it werent for sex ed, wouldn't even know HOW to have sex until they were at least 12 or 13, and even then they wouldnt just jump right iinto it
I had a friend who was pregnant at 12. Sex Ed hadn't yet been taught at our school.
I knew another girl who was having sex at the age of 9.
I *would have* had sex when I was 7 (with a cute 12 year old boy) but his mother walked in on us making out in his closet
I did however have a lesbian relationship when I was about 9 and again when I was about 12.
wow people are fucked up
yep lol
Sex Ed is especially for kids whose parents neglect to lay a general foundation for their kids to build upon.
This was a long time ago, but my step mom (currently in her 50's) started her period at school. She walked over to a teacher and asked her to please tell her mom that she loved her and was sorry about dying. The teacher asked what she was talking about and then had to explain she wasn't dying.
Some parents don't talk about sex PERIOD, so all those kids have to go on are locker room stories and their imaginations.
well i must have been pretty sheltered
i seriously didnt even know the anatomy of sex until like 7th grade
There's a difference between knowing about sex and having sex. I quite agree that at age 13 you are too young to be sexually active, but that doesn't mean you're too young to know what sex is and how babies are born -.-
They would know. It's instinctual knowledge.
And you'd wish for your children to experience the same?
This is more of a standard case of linage. What you are assuming regarding if there is a contradiction is highly inaccurate. Take special notice of the main assumption in your argument. Children that carries their parents genes are the only ones considered to be legal decedents. This assumption can display a wide array of inaccuracies.
Legal kinship standings can be related to either genes or marriage, we see this in everyday life. Rather or not the physical gene came from Joseph is irrelevant in this case.
Instead of explaining why you are against this, we get an amazing finish with your common posting of funny pictures. I noticed a pattern with you and you do that when you have nothing intelligent to add or when your stuck and simply cannot refute the material.
