I-Doser

hey there,

i came across a this thing a few days ago which relies on binaural beats...tones etc to alter a persons perception thus making them fell various feelings etc. they can be downloaded at a price(but elsewhere if ya can't b arsed;)) and come in various doses!...basically every drug known to man...weed...peyote...even heroin!:lol: there are also dosed which can be used for lucid dreaming...astral projection..out of body experiences etc. i tried out the salvia last night but it had little effect i reckon due to tiredness. Decided to give the weed 1 a go this morning and i definitely think it had some effect as i was dancing round the house listening to Bob Marley and trying to skate round on frost outside!:) only lasted bout 40mins i reckon...just wondering what experiences others might have had using this thing?..or if people gave it a go themselves and posted their reactions ere

any feedback appreciated!

I tried it. The alcohol didnt do much. I tried Ecstacy, marijuana Excite, I've never tried Ecstacy so I don't know what it should feel like. but the i-doser thing does definatly do something to you. You dont come out of it the same as you went in. For me, i just kinda get sleepy.

My friend tried the ecsatacy and we were doing it as a joke, but maybe an hour later, she was hopped up. Dancing around a shit, almost gave my dog a lap dance lOLOL, im just thinking it could be a placebo. I know that your brain works on frequencies and everything so it could work.

lol dats gud...ya i reckn it must be a placebo aswell but i did the weed 1 again today nd defo felt a strange sort of feeling like b4...but ur rite ya defo dont feel the same afterwards...wheather its a groggy feeling or watever!...they have 1 called 'the hand of god'?!....costs 200 bucks a pop!!...the people on the forums seem to swear by it but i reckin that cud b the price tag talkn...id never pay for any of this stuff neways..downloaded every type they have and the dreaded 'hand of god'!...il have to giv it a try in the next few weeks!:D

Has anyone ever commended you on your astounding English?

The Hand of God dose seems to be made of low-frequency tones which really make you feel weird.

The Lucid Dream dose doesn't seem to have much effect on me though, I think that it's supposed to make you tired and making your brain to pass to the theta stages.

I haven't really tried these "drug" doses, I don't need them, but I may give them a try someday.

It doesn't work. Anyone who tries the drug "doses" and says it does something obviously hasn't tried the real thing.

Binaural beats have been proven to work, but I-Doser makes you think that these are going to have a very strong effect on you, (these are definitely not THAT strong), they have many versions of the same binaural beats, and in the end, I-Doser is kinda overrated, of course, I-Doser has different effects for every person.

I tried the drug doses, but they didn't have a notorious effect on me, I have never tried real drugs though.

I don't care how well they "work", binaural beats are never going to duplicate the effect of alcohol or marijuana let alone something as powerful as acid. It's ridiculous to even think of and it's only marketable to squares who don't want to do the real thing.

ya well they don't work neways. I reckon they give you a slight pain in your temples which you then begin to think is actually the starting effects of the i-dose and simply imagine the feeling.

What is ridiculous is that I-Doser advertises them as powerful and that they "duplicate" effects from drugs, etc. a binaural beat doesn't duplicate an effect, it could be correct if it said that it lowers your brain frequency to theta stages, makes you more awake by moving your brain into the gamma stages, etc... but that wouldn't be appealing advertising, right? Business is business after all...

I'm not even sure how reputable binaurals are. I know that flashing lights work, but I'm wary on the sound waves. Wouldn't you need a more powerful vibration to produce the desired effect? Tiny headphone vibes might not do it... Is there some good proof out there that says that it's the frequencies, not the decibels? (By good proof, I mean from a site that doesn't sell/advertise/offer-for-free these tracks)

I own a theta wave track from the sleep-phones site. It knocks me out half the time. But I could easily chalk it up to placebo. But then again, with such a high success rate, would I really want to ruin the effect, be it imagined or not?

You don't really need a more powerful vibration, binaural beats work by emitting different sound frequencies in both ears, as long as the frequencies are below 1KHz, they should work, your brain calculates the difference between those frequencies.

Lower frequencies seem to have better effects, I tried to emit different frequencies between 30Hz and 50Hz, they sounded really weird.

BrainWave Generator does explain these things, it also has a feature to have flashing lights as well, so if you have one of those light systems you may have much better effects.

I gotta admit, placebo is a big part of these binaural beats, but they still have effect.

i got Hand of God off limewire. i think theyre all placebo.

I-doser uses the same frequencies for half their beats. They just use flashy marketing to get people. Binaural beats work, but nowhere to this extent. I have been trying to convince countless 13 year olds who are convinced that i-doser is making them see animals/hear people in their bedrooms are all exaggerating a lot. I actually made a site with free beats ( http://beatpage.tk ) and got quite a lot of people to test them for me. I haven't received all the same effects they did, but I have gotten slight shifts in perception, lightbodiedness/lightheadedness, and some other slight effects. Don't expect any tripping or anything though :P

I wholeheartedly agree with you, I-doser is just about advertising, it's very likely that all their "drug" doses use the same frequencies (but different tones that achieve the same frequencies), again, it's proven that binaural beats work, but I don't see how one would make you "trip" and stuff.

I guess it's fake, i tested it and that was one of the most useless of all i tried.

I've had quite a bit of experience with binaural beats. They can definitely help if you integrate them into your meditation routine. The problem with Idoser is that they don't tell you that you need to be pretty damn familiar with meditating to get any results.

Think of the different beats being categorized as drugs is just a marketing technique. It seems like they are targeting the market looking for altered states of consciousness through chemicals. Most binaural beat peddlers go for that new-agey audience, so they will name their beats things like "flight of the goddess" or "Moons over My-Hammy Unicorns" or stuff like that.

If you really want to get into binaural beats, buy some stuff from the Monroe Institute. They pretty much came up with it in the first place, and they at least try to apply profits to some research. Not as much as they used to, but you can trick yourself into thinking your money is not being wasted on some 22 year old startup kid buying a segway.

Bottom line, if you want something to listen to while you meditate, give them a shot. I love them.

I agree 100% with Robot_Butler. What they are really good for is a meditation aid. The only "effects" i've gotten from the beats i've made were while meditating. The beats help you meditate much deeper, which in turn intensifies the feelings of perception shifting, "headchanges", etc. It's all related. I just made that site to provide free beats as an "alternative" to the kids that are scammed by i-doser everyday. Their messageboard is run like by strict admin who ban you if you link to other beat sites/sites that list the frequencies. I get all my info that i base my beats on from http://lunarsight.com/freq.htm . I'm sure i-doser does too. I have posted info bashing their dumb remarks of using "extremely high-tech state-of-the art equipment to create their beats that noone could possibly recreate at home"...umm, it runs on sbagen? A free program? Well, i said that and it was quickly deleted off the boards...whoops. I almost have to go along with their bullshit just to keep my account on there to educate kids about the real science behind binaural beats, etc etc...

I tried the Lucid Dream dose last night while I was rather tired. I can say, it most defenitely does something if you put some effort into it. I like to relax myself, breathe deeply etc... Usually within 10-15 minutes I start to feel some of the effects.

Within 10 minutes of the lucid dream dose, I began to visualise people or humanoids smashing on drums, I could hear very vivig gong noises. As well, some very strong aztek imagery was flashing though my mind. I have never had this kind of experience from simply relaxing myself and breathing deeply.

All in all, and as others have concluded, I-doser is over-rated, but certainly not completely useless. Also, it can NOT replicate the effects of any of the drugs it claims it can replicate.

Yeah I tried that..it didn't feel to different than weed...or peyote...or any other drug. It just felt like I was going into SP for each of them. Lol. I would feel like my body would like float out of my bed and than go really fast and start spinning and stuff.
