Lucid Dreaming Experiment – Participants Wanted!
Hello!
My name is Tadas and I am an MSc student in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University.
In my dissertation project I am exploring possibilities of creative problem solving in lucid dreams and I am looking for participants to take place in an experiment.
If you are an experienced lucid dreamer and you would like to explore whether it is possible to employ lucid dreaming for creative problem solving, please join this intriguing experiment! Your help would be much appreciated!
The experiment will be carried out for a period of 10 days. Every night before going to sleep you will be given a creative task or problem to solve and you will try to find an answer in your lucid dream!
The study is anonymous and confidential.
If you would like to take part in the experiment please write me an email to [email protected]
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me as well!
Many thanks!

Creative problem solving in lucid dreams - participants wanted!
A bit more detailed information about the study.
AIM: To explore possibility of creative problem solving in lucid dreams with the help of dream characters.
METHODS: The study will be carried out over the period of 10 consecutive days. Each night before going to sleep the participants will be given a creative task/problem to solve. They will be asked:
a) to memorise the problem before going to sleep
b) to induce a lucid dream (using preferred technique)
c) to find an old wise man/guru/spiritual guide figure in the dream
d) to ask him or her for help and ask for an answer to the given problem
e) to wake up and record the answer
Two groups will be used: lucid dreamers and a control group of non lucid dreamers. Participants should be 18+ years old.
Of course, I do not expect that the lucid dreamers will be able to have a lucid dream every night for 10 days in a row smile If you could have a lucid dream in 5 out of 10 nights, it would be fine, 3 would be OK as well.
I believe this could be an important and groundbreaking study and you could make history in lucid dreaming research!
So please do not hesitate to sign up!
If you have any questions please post it here and I will be more than happy to answer!
