How close to death have you become?
When I was little, I bashed my head into the corner of a window sill and started bleeding everywhere. It wasn't anything major, I only needed seven stitches and then I was sent home but that's the most serious injury I've ever had. I still have a small dent there but you can't notice unless you feel around for it and even then it's hardly noticeable. :P

It depends on who the people I know are. If they're people I like to be around, then I'd probably want to be around them. But there aren't many people who I'd like to be around, maybe 3. If it's just any random people that I know, like my family or other acquaintances, I'd prefer to be alone.
Imagine that you are on your way to save two people. For some reason, only you can save them. It will take about 20 minutes to get there, and if you don't get there in time, they'll both die. While rushing to get there, you see a single person, of the same age and gender as the other two, who is also in danger, right next to you, calling for help. If you ignore him/her, he/she will die. But if you save the person's life, you know you won't have time to save the other two people's lives. Would you stop to save the person?

Ziplining (canopy tour) in Costa Rica, then in Mexico, upside down. Googleimage it if you don't know what it is. I've also been parasailing but I don't think that's very extreme. I was on adderal at the time so I was rather bored.
