Normal or dream ones?
normal
Why would it be wrong?
I honestly don't care either way. Whatever makes them happy.
im not agaisnt it, people think their own thoughs. look somone people said its wrong for them.. ask them not me
I've kept a professional diary (journal, whatever) for 3 years, now
It's hardly a day-by-day diary, but it documents my progress
Gah! Men should be real men and not keep journals of any kind!!! (dream or otherwise)
</driveby sexism>
On the serious side, I think people should do however they please, men should keep a dream journal if they wish (the gender of the person doesn't make any difference in my mind)
It's a free country/world/mind. People can do what they wish, if they want a journal then fine.
I realize that journals are viewed as "girlie" in pop culture. I also realize just how much I hate pop culture. I keep a dream journal on paper and post some of my entries on this site.
I think that it is perfectly fine for a guy to keep a journal.
I've love to hear a guy explain why keeping a journal is "girlie," and not sound like a complete idiot. I don't think it's possible. :)
i just started to keep a jorunal.. its acutally fun
I'm a girl. I see nothing wrong with a guy keeping a journal. I keep a journal...sometimes...not really..but, still what. Guys can if they want. I don't see it as girlie.
It's alright, as long as it's a manly journal, with like a picture of Chuck Norris roundhouse kicking someone to the face, or like a boat or an army man on the front page, and inside is all their descriptions of their manly adventures slaying beasts across the land and beating up that guy at the laundromat because he was hitting your ho's.
Just kidding, of course.... It's completely fine if a guy wants to keep a journal, I think it's kind of stupid that anyone would still see it as a girly thing and still hold all these sexual stereotypes....
Shakleton's expeditions would have been very boring without journals.
Didn't a lot of historical guys...from history *wink wink*... keep journals?
"Memoirs", journals, diaries, logs... Indeed, many did. I don't know how the notion of "diaries" as a feminine thing came about. Maybe it's movies and television shows that give that impression. I know I always had that idea while growing up.
But, like I said, I keep a dream journal. I just don't tell anyone about it outside of Dreamviews.
I keep one, to keep from insanity getting a hold of me. All of the shit I've done to people... It's hard to remember. I don't want to remember...

Yeah many of the classic victorian seducers kept journals. such as Casanova.
I feel that you should do as you feel, regardless of what others think.
I will keep a diary a journal and I will cry.
I am also confident I am a man.
I kinda wanna keep going with my journal...though...re-start it. Start a new journal.
Memory isn't all that. I can see why people would want to write down what they do in their lives. At every given second, the past is all you (really/already) have in a sense.
Journals = manly
Diaries = girly
End of story
