and den she shat on a turtle
My new year's strategy is already working like a charm. I'm so incredibly busy and loaded with repairs it's amazing.
I'm on attendence record at school! :pissed: I'm missing all my frees and have to come into school.
I'm an adult for ****'s sake!
Basically I've been put on this attendence thing where I have to go to each lesson and get a teacher to sign a piece of paper saying I was there.
I have free lessons in my timetable wher eI have no lesson so I can go home ect or go into to school later, for example on a Thursday I have 2 free's in the morning so I don't have to go in until 11:30am. However now I have to go to school from 8:30 to 3 and have to make my teachers sign this attendence report.
It's just a load of crap, I'm legally an adult!
Oh, I skipped assembly. Bear in mind I had an English exam that day and the teacher ( the English teacher ) let have the lesson off because of the exam.
So I practically finished school at 10:30 that day, however I had assembly at 1:30 ( which would've been a pointless powerpoint on nothing i.e. it's good to feel good about yourself ). So I would have to do nothing for 3 hours and then come back or just miss it.
I always attend them however because I had spent ages revising for this exam and had no other lessons, I just wanted to go home and relax. Also I didn't to go back to school for a 10 minute assembly.
EDIT: So yeah it's a punishment, kind of a childish punishment but meh -_-
Neavo - I thought in college it didn't matter? That sounds a bit crap to me mate...
Ha, here if you don`t attend school, they make you leave, not stay :P.
It's compulsary, if you don't like it, don't go. There's no point in complaining.
I'm in exactly the same situation. Except I'm a good boy who runs along to his lessons on time every day. :)
...I wish I didn't. :(
Ha! My university has the same attendance thing for about 50% of the classes. Usually, attendance is mandatory (teacher has to sign a sheet saying you were there) for the types of classes that are really easy to skip and do well in. It's just a way for the teachers and profs to not feel bad about themselves. :P
For example, attendance was not mandatory in my econ class last semester because coming to class was essential to learn the material. Hence, people came. This semester, I have elementary Chinese where attendance IS mandatory because every student could basically learn the stuff on his/her own and leave the teacher with an empty class room.
It's even more frustrating around here because most of us have been adults for a few years now.

Oh knows... I have no luck today... yesterday was so busy... I worry for those people who are graduating this year into the real world and can't figure out how to bargain shop for a toaster oven you only will need once.
Aside from that, maybe I can get some good food at Epcot's Japan area since I know all the people I'm going with are going to make this as troubling as possible... Time to turn on my MP3 player. Que bueno
Anyone here play Half-Life 2?
