I cut myself earlier today. I was opening a box of nails, just cutting the seal, and I wasn't paying enough attention. I'm assuming stock shares? I think the general trend is that gold and stocks are inversely related. At least, in the U.S. The same goes with the gold/currency relationship. Since gold is what world currencies are based on, when the dollar falls (for example) with relationship to other world currencies (like the Canadian Dollar and Euro right now), the value of gold goes up.
