I tried to search and look up why. I even spent 10 minutes doing so because curiousity got the best of me. But I can't figure out why.

Well, you won't likely find the reason for anyone's ban since any serious offences probably get deleted and (more often when the ban is served after accumulated smaller offences), the banned member just...disappears, so there's nothing to trace the ban by, really.
And though I think I recall the admins not approving threads about banned members (though I may be wrong...my memory of such things isn't that great), I'm curious about this as well.
He is not banned.

Don't take my word for it. It may have just been with Leo Volont and the large amounts of topics that were being started asking about him over and over and over...

maybe he made another pointless thread somewhere? i heard they have warned hium for it.
I think he was beginning to become very hostile, in particular in R/S.
However I don't know if it's ban-worthy.
I assume it's something we don't know about.
What do you think..?

From what I read, he created a thread that bashed Grod in R/S or SB I forget. It was an attempt to counter the..."Anti-Seismosaur Movement". But I doubt that led to his bann...though it probably moved him a few steps toward it.
Edit: Also something else that crossed my mind that may have contributed to his bann. Yesterday in the "Questions for Chaplain Tim!" thread, he was a bit obnoxious towards Tim, not very like him at all.

I was debating on whether or not to reply to this thread, as none of us really like threads second-guessing our banning policies or implying that we are "excessive," (because we're not) but, to be fair, I'll say this:
Seis was temporarily banned for a large number of reasons, none of which I will be going into detail about, as it is not our policy to go public with every detail about every event that leads up to a person's ban. Most importantly is that he has been asked/re-asked/warned about his behavior on numerous occassions, and continued to do many of the things he was asked not to do and/or act in the same type of way that he was requested not to. Simple as that.
Thanks for responding O, I thought it was against the rules to create a thread asking why someone was banned? I remember several threads being created and being locked just because of that.Quote:
