I was debating on whether or not to reply to this thread, as none of us really like threads second-guessing our banning policies or implying that we are "excessive," (because we're not) but, to be fair, I'll say this:

Seis was temporarily banned for a large number of reasons, none of which I will be going into detail about, as it is not our policy to go public with every detail about every event that leads up to a person's ban. Most importantly is that he has been asked/re-asked/warned about his behavior on numerous occassions, and continued to do many of the things he was asked not to do and/or act in the same type of way that he was requested not to. Simple as that.

Thanks for responding O, I thought it was against the rules to create a thread asking why someone was banned? I remember several threads being created and being locked just because of that.

And O'nus, I concur. IMO we should get to know why someone was banned.

I don't think anyone was second-guessing the staff. Someone just wanted clarification. I agree with the staff 99% of the time. If anything you guys are usually to lenient.

Fair enough. The thing is that we've had a wave of members that like to try to incite a riot whenever someone gets banned, and with the "Another ban?" title, I saw that coming, as did some of the other staff that saw this thread.

Actually, I have an idea that I think would help eliminate threads like this popping up, whenever someone is banned, so I'll bring it up to the others and see what they have to say about it.

Seismosaur reported to be a 15 year old girl but didn't talk like one. I could almost swear that it is the same person who used to use the name "Kimpossible". Hmmm...

Don't make us bring his picture up again.
