13 year old kids are basically idiots, they can't spell, they use stupid abbreviations (asshattery like "u, idk, bbf" etc) and much else. Also, 13 year olds like to voice their opinion and post a lot, actually most people do, but the thing is, that these kids post BEFORE they actually think about what they're saying. As in, they post and post and post, then they apologize when they get criticized and bashed by people with experienced.
Bottomline: Dreamviews is a forum that consists of mostly mature people, and just about all kids below the age of 15 are either new to the internet, or they are immature.
By setting this age limit, we can keep them out so we don't have to bash them for being complete idiots, and to avoid useless and generally stupid posts.
Now, I realize that many people above the age of 15 can be immature and stupid (I could for instance mention a lot of people here on DV, that mostly spout out stupid and useless carebear/help me/I-can't-do-anything-myself posts, though I'll refrain from that) but that people below the age of 15 actually can be rather mature and experienced with the internet. An example would be Sean. You haven't been that much of a problem
Also, one of the basic tests of checking people's brains here on DV, is when people post their age. We've caught plenty of people saying they're 14 or 13, and they get banned :P
I hope this post wasn't too much of a blur =P
