Not sure if this is the right forum to ask random questions but here it goes
Anyone know of a GIF animation program that can be downloaded and used for free? Trying to find one that whenever i save something it doesnt put the companies watermark on it

Well, a quick Google search (because I'm too lazy to go in-depth) led me to this: Freebyte's Guide To Free Graphics Software
Hope this helps.

This is the program I use.

I'm almost positive that The Gimp can do animated GIFs. It's one of the most powerful image editors out there and it's free. It's essentially Photoshop, there is very little that it can't do. On Mac it requires X11, for Linux or Windows it will work with the native GUI.

for all the wonderfully good things to say about The Gimp,
why oh why do they insist on seperate windows by default?
it's ugly and annoying
(aah, me palette tab is under seven word documents and a CAD drawing......)
anyway,
long live the Gimp
(just change the windowing operations, please)

Probably to make it look adn act more like Photoshop, I find it annoying too.

I was going to mention the GIMP, as I thought it could do animated GIFs, but I've never used it for that, so figured I'd try to find dedicated programs. Nice to know that it can indeed do it, though.
