I'm almost positive that The Gimp can do animated GIFs. It's one of the most powerful image editors out there and it's free. It's essentially Photoshop, there is very little that it can't do. On Mac it requires X11, for Linux or Windows it will work with the native GUI. |

I was going to mention the GIMP, as I thought it could do animated GIFs, but I've never used it for that, so figured I'd try to find dedicated programs. Nice to know that it can indeed do it, though. |
