What kind should I get? I don't really want to buy anything over $100, but I might be able to loan the money from someone if it's a great deal.
I'd rather not get one that's clunky, if possible I'd like it to fit in my pocket. Not having a power chord is a must.
Any recomendations?

LaCIE makes some that are portable and rugged, in the 250-320GB range at that price, I think. Check NewEgg, of course. Be sure you read reviews carefully, on multiple sites. Am I stuck to flash drives, or are there any decent external hard drives that don't need a chord?
The only alternative to having an external hard drive without a power cord is by having an external hard drive that runs on a battery (which wouldn't be practical). If you're really against having an ex. hard drive without a power cord, I'd probably just use a flash drive.Quote:
