Close WILD attempt
About two days ago I attempted a nap WILD...I was lying there for a good amount of time, my body was full of sensations, I soon felt my body "fall through" my bed, I heard eerie sounds for about 2-3 sec, then It stopped and my eyes opened and i was in my bed, I did a reality check but it turns out I was awake.
Can someone please help me with what to do when your body feels the falling sensation? And when is the right time to roll out of your dream body to enter a dream?

The falling sensation was a hypnagogic. Close to SP but not the transition yet. Come to
think of it I think that's quite similar to the sensation I experienced right before I entered
the sleep paralysis transition. Its hard to describe and I can't seem to get back to the sp.
I might just be off my sleep cycle but anyway, I think your close. Just keep trying and good
luck.

Okay cool thanks for the advice, I just thought that feeling of falling was my trigger to roll my dream body into my dream, i guess i was wrong haha

I don't think so, if you haven't entered into sp yet It's probably not a good idea.
I've heard of all kinds of entries into WILDs. Apparently most of them are FAs
and other time you fall through the bed into the dream, or just sort of find
yourself in the dream, or a bunch of other things. I have only made it to the
transition into sleep paralysis so far so don't hold me to it but that's what I've
heard.

I have had several WILDs; in fact I had one this morning. None of mine have been false awakenings, so I'm sure that experiences differ greatly from person to person. However what I can tell you is that you'll most likely feel yourself come apart from your physical body. It doesn't feel like falling; it feels like you're actually separating, though in your case it could be accompanied by other sensations. It doesn't have to happen after sleep paralysis; none of mine have, but Shadow was right to some extent in that my WILDs only occur after I get the buzzing feeling many people associate with sleep paralysis. I don't actually get paralyzed. The separation follows soon after the sensation if I manage to stay relaxed with low awareness through the transition. Sometimes it does require some sort of willing yourself out of your body to do the transition, but not always.
Good luck with WILDing; I guarantee you'll have a WILD soon if you're already this far. :) Just keep practicing.
