About two days ago I attempted a nap WILD...I was lying there for a good amount of time, my body was full of sensations, I soon felt my body "fall through" my bed, I heard eerie sounds for about 2-3 sec, then It stopped and my eyes opened and i was in my bed, I did a reality check but it turns out I was awake. |

I don't think so, if you haven't entered into sp yet It's probably not a good idea. |

I have had several WILDs; in fact I had one this morning. None of mine have been false awakenings, so I'm sure that experiences differ greatly from person to person. However what I can tell you is that you'll most likely feel yourself come apart from your physical body. It doesn't feel like falling; it feels like you're actually separating, though in your case it could be accompanied by other sensations. It doesn't have to happen after sleep paralysis; none of mine have, but Shadow was right to some extent in that my WILDs only occur after I get the buzzing feeling many people associate with sleep paralysis. I don't actually get paralyzed. The separation follows soon after the sensation if I manage to stay relaxed with low awareness through the transition. Sometimes it does require some sort of willing yourself out of your body to do the transition, but not always. |
