Is this partial SP?
So, I've been trying to do a WILD the past few nights. I only do it if I wake up in the middle of the night, because I hear it's faster to go into SP, because your mind hasn't been awake for too long.
Well, I always lay on my stomach, because it's the most comfortable for me, and I close my eyes, and count my breaths, don't think about one thing for too long, etc.
After about 10-15 minutes, I kind of move my fingers a little bit, and they feel all tingly. Also, my toes feel this way, but it's only my fingers and toes. But then I get too impatient, and end up just opening my eyes, giving up, and going to sleep. So do I just need to keep going, and see what happens? Is that partial SP?
Also, another thing; I'm afraid of HI. I'm pretty sure the whispers will freak me out, and I'll open my eyes, ruining everything. How do you deal with HI? I need some tips on that, also.
I'd love to hear your experiences with WILD's too! (:

Hey aim, it sounds like you're experiencing the early sensations of a WILD.. When you start to feel tingly you'll still have to wait another 25min at least (usually). The first few times with SP are really scary but eventually you get used to it and it's more fun than it is scary! You're on the way there, just keep at it! You should consider signing up for the 90 days WILD project under the research section.
Cheers,
- Jamal

Okay, thanks! So I guess I just have to learn to be more patient, and hopefully the SP won't freak me out too much.
It sounds awesome though! xD
I'll look into the 90 days WILD project, too. :]

I experienced SP once and it was really obvious when it hit me. What you felt is what you feel as your relaxing before SP kicks in. My first time just last night felt really cool because I actually started seeing the images flicker through your head really quickly and vividly. Good luck and post any updates.

Well, I tried to do a WILD this morning, and I think I made a little more progess then I've ever done before. I laid on my stomach, did my usual thing.
I counted about 300 of my breaths, and by that time my feet and hands felt tingly, not just my fingers and toes. About five minutes after that, my forearms began to tingle. :D
But then, I got really uncomfortable for some reason. My right arm started to hurt, because it wasn't in a good postition. I tried not to think about it, I focused on my breaths with a little more attention, but I couldn't shake the uncomfortableness. I kept telling myself it would go away soon enough when SP sets in, but it never would!
So, I opened my eyes, and stopped everything. :[
But I feel like I made a little more progess. :)
