Future Banner Idea

Yo icedawg, check this out

I'm not saying this should be the new banner, I just made this in my free time. However, It's available if ya happen to wanna use it in the future, think it looks pretty good?

Well to be honest, I think it looks a bit too photoshopped and it doesn't match very well with the current theme

wasn't meant for the current theme actually. just an idea if theres ever another theme change. However I've tested it with the current theme and it could work if a lot of the blue on the forums was simply darkened a bit, or if the contrast was hightened.

Yeah, It does look a little too photoshopped doesn't it? I have this other one too that might look a little better (Last One) I don't think this one would really even work at all though. Maybe it can be like a winter banner or something, banners for each season perhaps?

it even has a picture in the backround that i took myself

i like this one, but i think the one we currently have feels more like a 'dreaming' banner (w/o being too dreamy). perhaps we'll save this one for winter, as you suggested?

That may work, but I think it needs a bit of work by adjusting some stuff. Try increasing the sharpness of the photo, taking off the drop shadow (its too noticeable) and changing around the colors a bit.

It's a bit too contrasty and saturated, mess with it a bit more.

I dunno, I like the first snowy one he posted better. I don't find that the drop shadow is bad, plus the fuzzier image makes the 'DreamViews' lettering more noticable.

However it really comes down to personal preferance in the end.

Anyway, nice work Tsukin.
