menu problem with new site layout

      hey,

i'm having some trouble doing up the menu for the new site. anyway, i'm using paint shop pro and opening the original .pspimage files that i created when i did our forum's menu in december. this is a new install of psp because i recurrently format my hard drive and reinstall everthing, for that "fresh" feel.

anyway, the buttons are not coming out properly. i'm changing the text in the existing text objects, so all the same settings should be in place, but the aliasing around them is coming out darker than before. if you look at the main site now, you might be able to notice the 'home' button looks a little more crisp than the others (because it's the original home button done in december; the others were just done yesterday). i cannot find a method of adjusting the lightness of the aliasing. does anyone have any thoughts on this? maybe, since apparently psp has changed ownership hands since my previous install, it's been changed somewhat. regardless, the appearance of the new menu items is bugging me damnit.

Alright well, try to change the mode with aliasing. On photoshop, you can make it things such as "crisp, strong" or "smooth" Try to change it to another one if you can find it.

Well, make sure the settings were the same as when you did it last time.

thanks anyway. i just redid the options on the main page with a smaller line width. they differ from the forum's buttons a little, but i guess it's not complete noticeable.

That was part of the reason I couldn't help you - I couldn't see the tinies bit of difference (even when I squinted at it).
