Community Pages Logo

I was looking at the Community Pages thing today because Lomebririon told me the logo was just the logo for the forum with 'community pages' placed over 'Lucid Dreaming forum', so I whipped this up. What do you think?

Yey...change is good. I'm not a member of the community team so I'm not really sure how it looks now but I think what you have done is pretty cool. I'm glad you are open to changing the DV Bubble as it pertains to different teams....I think it would be awesome if they were all "specialized" to that particular team...like the community team, the art design team, the event team, etc. Maybe each one could have its own version of Lome's bubble, just modified a bit to fit that team. Cool idea Aphius.

That is pretty awesome. One of the main things I noticed though was that the blue in "Dreamviews" looked too vibrant. Maybe tone that down a bit though? Anyways, overal I think it is pretty awesome!

I think it's good like that, with the vibrant colors and things, becasue it sort of shows that the community pages are done by the community, and not the professionals who do the real site.. (i'm jus sayin, lol, i don't really know alot about the community sites yet tho). So the vibrant colors and the brightness sort of show a uniqueness to the prospect of quality in the community.

Since you aren't part of the Community Team, you wouldn't know that we finished up our insults a while ago. But yeah, 24KB is an large amount for impatient 56kers like myself. Let me just work it out. Okay, it takes 8 seconds (if I'm at top speed for the day, which isn't usually likely anyway) to load the logo, and I don't mind sitting through that once. Being as the logo is the icing on the cake though, the site looks "unfinished" until it loads. When i go to community pages and (if the CP logo is roughly the same size) load another 8 seconds...well, probably longer with all the page data, it takes too long. I MEAN 16 SECONDS PEOPLE. >:l It's not a big deal. But it does seem like a long time when I'm on the internet. A little compression would fix that.

I guess I just never pay attention to the loading of the logos and things, as soon as I can click the link I want, I just do it. I'm always connected at 33.6kbps or less, so I know slow. I stopped paying attention a while ago.

I've had 33kbps (well, i call it 56k ) for several years...since I was 8, I suppose. So I know slow more than you ever will do. Whatever, be quiet and go do more logo type things. *distracts*
