      Feeble Wizard Doodles

      LOL...

      I got bored in class...
I think I have some talent, but to be a great artist maybe I need a bit more discipline!

I scanned this from my notebook because some people liked my avatar and wanted to see more drawings I made. I thought these were pretty interesting. By the way, not everything I draw is so bizarre, in case you are wondering; I just wanted to find something similar to my avatar!

Here is another picture -- my avatar:

      I'm really impressed man

And I agree, you have talent, and creativity...each one of those doodles has it's own character and uniqueness and interesting detail (like that weird chic? in the upper right has these 2 bizarre craters in her chin)

You remind me alot of this guy I went to high school with...he'd always draw this huge, grotesque 'thing' on the chalkboard right before class started, and when I asked to see what else he drew, he showed me his notebook which was filled with weird faces being split in half, or fists punching through someone's body...but it was cool. Kinda comic-booky, but more interesting.

      What else you got?

(ps. it's really disgusting when your 'doodles' are better than the best thing I could ever draw )

(ps again, you might like this dude: ian)

I love this stuff! I appreciate doodles of weird crap much more than, say, the mona lisa. sometimes my friends and I have doodle wars where we draw at the same time and make our drawings kill each others'. It gets pretty crazy but it's great fun. Another one of my friends has a cement floor in his room so he said it was ok to doodle on it. It's all covered in drawings now, it's pretty much the coolest room ever!

If you have any more stuff please post it, i think it's great!

Thanks for the kind feedback, Ophelia. I sort of thought of the girl with the craters as being Micheal Jackson lol! But I wasn't trying to be gross when I drew all that stuff as Ian seems to be; it just sort of turned out that way (except for in a couple of cases, where I wanted the characters to look odd). I never know how my drawings will turn out, and that is what makes doodling fun for me. Really seeing Ian's website makes me realize how much more fun it is to doodle bizarre things than to look at bizarre things.

I never thought of doing real time doodlewars; that sounds like fun. Of course I could imagine it getting out of hand, with you poking each other's hands with pens and tearing the paper and stuff . But I did once play a game where we drew spaceships and had them fight each other in imaginary battles -- I usually won (so that means my friend was more polite than me , but really I think I am more polite now than what I used to be).

Here are a couple of old paintings I found in my closet. I used to paint a lot when I was in high school, but I haven't picked up a paintbrush in about four years. I really enjoyed painting. It kind of makes me sad looking at these because I don't really do any art anymore. It was quite enjoyable. I would like to be an artist, but I decided not to be one because I was afraid it would be too hard to find work, but sometime I wonder if I made a mistake...

      Those are small oil paintings.

dude that totally reminds me of this tunnel that went under the hughway where I went to college...it was FILLED with all kinds of crap: drawings, paintings, poetry, general vandalism. I used to go in there at night drunk with cans of spray paint and paint Ren & Stimpies all over the wall

      wonder if they're still there......

Wow, that post was perfect timing, sandwiched between my post and my edit, which only took a few seconds!

dude, you're so humble, those paintings are amazing, very impressionistic...I don't know much about paintings and such, but your style reminds me of something by van gogh or monet

      simply

Thank you! Maybe I will upload something else next time I have access to a scanner, which will probably be next week. If you click on the thumbnails, you can get an enlarged view.
