This past weekend me Brooke, T. Joe and Mits had a chance to go see the Barcelona exhibit.
      It was great.
They focused on Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Joan Miro.

I wanted to point out that they said that Dali would use his dreams as inspirations for his art.
He would sit in a chair and hold a key. When he fell asleep he would drop the key, waking himself up. He would then draw from his abstract renderings.

a lot of the show was work i have already seen, but not in person. So that was cool. But I had hoped to see some more unfamiliar works.
All in all it was worth it.

I'm doing an essay on Magritte and suprisingly none of his paintings are inspired by dreaming, unlike Dali.
My initial purpose of trying LD'ing is for my artworks, but it's taking alot longer than I thought. I need to master it.
Some are born to sweet delight,
Some are born to endless night.

      No. Funny you ask.
In each room they had this contraption that measured moisture and temperature. And the light were dim. There were a lot of security guards too.
But most of the paintings you could get right up next to. If you got too close, a super high buzzer would go off.
But I was standing there thinking a similar thing when Joe came up to me.
Me --thinking to myself; Man, you can reach out and touch this original Picasso.
Joe says to me, "Jay, you can get so close to these paintings I wonder what they would do if you spit on one?"

      hehehe... he's so evil

All those sensors remind me of that movie National Treasure where they steal the Declaration of Independance. You guys would probably get sniped if you laid a finger on any of those paintings!

I was telling Joe & Mits about this time that me and five of my friend went to the same Museum. One of my friend is has epilepsy.
Keep in mind that aside from a special exhibit like the Barcelona one, there is a random security guard here and there --
We were in one of the rooms with midevil statues in it. It started to have a seizure (thank goodness it was not a grand-maw seizure)
'BAM' > with in 10 seconds there were like ten to fifteen guards that physically removed him from the room.
They worried about his health after he was out of the harms way of the sculptures.

      So yes. You are right.
