A writer in need of help

I'm in the process of writing a short shory (for now it could become much more). It is about a girl that sleepwalks. I have gathered information about sleepwalking but I would also like to get information from the sourse, the sleepwalker. So if you sleepwalk or know someone who does I would appreciate your help.

      Hello Writergirl. Welcome.
I personally do not sleep walk. My freinds kid has on several occasions. Each time spewing out run on sentences which made no sense at all. Rambling. I am not sure if this is a common factor for sleep walkers or not. But thats my two cents.

      Good luck with your story!

Hmm well the one time I can remember I've sleep walked (I know there've been others!), I walked into my parents room in the middle of the night, turned on the light, and asked my mom, "Do you have the time?" This was despite the fact that I had a perfectly good clock in my own room. My parents were very confused, because then I just turned around without waiting for an answer and walked back into my room. I guess I then grabbed an empty glass that I had a coke float in before, drank it and hopped back into bed.

Strange thing is, is that I could slightly remember being really thirsty, then walking over to my dresser and drinking a cup of water, only to get pissed off because it was empty... Also, I didn't remember anything else until my mom told me about it the next morning. So I'm not sure if I was dreaming, or almost concious, or what. The memory of the glass sure seemed like a dream, though, as now that I think about it I had no other memory of getting out of bed or going into my parents room. So maybe I was acting out a dream? Hope this helps!

Ps: Woot! I'm back after more than a month of being gone!

Good luck on your story, WriterGirl! A story about sleepwalking sounds interesting. What kind of theme will you give it? Horror? I've watched a documentary about a guy who killed someone while sleepwalking. He wakes up later and has absolutely no recollection of what he's done! Imagine that!

I walked into my parents room in the middle of the night, turned on the light, and asked my mom, \"Do you have the time?\"[/b]
That reminds me of something I did at a school lockin (where students spend the night in classroom). I didn't sleepwalk, but I guess I rose out of my sleeping bag like Dracula out of his coffin, turned to the girl next to me and said "Do you want an angel?" then fell back to my pillow. It happened a few minutes later and I asked her "Do you have any lion sausage?" Lion Sausage?

My classmate never let me here the end of it, either. Whenever she'd see me in the hallway she'd exclaim "Lion Sausage!" Man....
I have become an angel this night, bearing wishes on pearly wings. While dancing upon clusters of stars and cosmic nebulas, into some enchanted, celestial ritual that turned me into a constellation...

I do believe I will be going in the horror direction. I don't know about you but sleepwalking is creepy to me. Thank you everyone for your help.
