I have about 12 to 15 poems that I have written throughout the years. Each one reflects a different perspective in my life. Once they are all posted I will provide a blurb as to what influenced each poem. I will start off by posting a few of my poems from the early years ages 15-18. |

What a long, strange trip it's been.
Dark shadows spreading across the sky; |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
Strolling along with a buzz in my head |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
Silent raven perched in a tree, contemplates its journey, its journey to the Sea. |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
Emotion is like a ball of clay, many shapes within a day. |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
Please don’t you be sad. |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
I don’t know what’s going on |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
The icy wind which blows so chill carries the message of a god long still. |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
Memories come flooding into my head, |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
Tell me o child of darkness, do you remember me and how we danced under the midnight sun when we were wild and free? |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
You would be amazed at the wondrous sight I see, |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
When my troubles bring me down |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
The past is a deception. |
What a long, strange trip it's been.
