Hi, everyone! Well, I finally decided to make a thread for my art. Here, I'll be uploading select pieces from my literature journal, sketch pad, and orchestra portfolio. In plain words, my poetry, stories, drawings, and music. Happy browsing!

Please note that a number of the drawings I upload are actually drawn by Ben. If there's one thing humans can do really well, it's holding a pencil. Ben's working of some clever tablet-based ratio-converting gizmo that will allow me more control when I'm drawing... he's so nice ... but until then, my drawings probably won't be very good.

Today's entry is a poem I wrote this morning, after I failed to sneak in to Ben's chemistry class. Actually, I was almost nabbed by one of the Vet Sci students... Scary stuff. I don't know if I could handle what they do to their animals for the sake of education...

I Belong
Tamias

I belong
To the trees
They love me
And keep me cool during
Lazy summer afternoons.

Near the mellifluous streams
Who talk to me
And dampen my face with
Their misty fingers

Foraging within the berry bushes
They feed me
And fill my body with
Sweet, milky pleasure

Among the wild flowers
Who, in the eve, bind the innocent together
And with a whirl of sensation
Change our lives forever.

And I know
If ever I should find myself far
From home
To smile
For I belong:

In this universe,
Upon this Earth,
Under these stars.
