This is a picture I drew for my logo thing... I'm not a great artists but I think it turned out very good! The hair could use some work on it and I think the boob is sticking out too much but other than that I need to re-draw the hands and maybe re-do alittle bit of the feet.

Nice. You're right about the hands, but I think the feet look more out of proportion with the legs than with the rest. The breast seems to be slightly too high, I don;t know, try reducing the size starting from the top, kill two birds with one stone. The hair is great, I like the hair, and that is a really interesting design on the scythe (I like the mountain/plains [delete as necessary] scythes, with the curved handle, but that's just me. The straight-handled scythe seems to look good for this, especially in proportion to the person in the drawing.) Anyway, the art could use some work, but it;s a good design. Keep working at it, and it'll probably end up looking really great.

Thanks for the reply! I just wish I had more room on the paper...I'm going to try and draw some wings for it. And the first thing I'll do is fix the feet. I'll deal with the breast later because I've already tried many things with it...but it should be an easy fix. I'll have to read up on some tutorials for drawing hands. Then I'm going to trace the picture and try to get the outline of it better so I can work with it in photoshop. I want to give it a sort of grungy/dark look but not too grungy or dark. I would also like more replies! Edit: And does the hair really look good? I didn't think it looked too good...

I was thinking about that earlier, after logging off the forum, and the back of the hair actually should be lower, so that the hair falls more forward over the shoulder than straight down. Aside from that, the effect of the hair does look good. You could easily solve this by drawing a bit of a curved line over from the back of the shoulder and then shading the neck, so that instead of an oddly curved neck it looks like part of the hair, or you may want to redo that area. It still depends on the look you're going for. It would be much easier to give suggestions for drawings if everyone was trelepathing and could see hte intent for the finished illustration, and how it would need to be fixed. (I'm assuming you're wanting to do the sort of mostly reverse-silhouette image some logos have. If you're trying for illustrated realism, then yeah, the hair would need more detail, rather than the exaggerated effectsof the parts as it folds over her ear and the side of her face. The body would need more shading too. But again, that's if you;re trying for a more realism than stylization.)

Hi Pretty good so far. My comments: - There's a bump in the back of the neck. Looks fat. - Tits are too high (has been said) and perhaps a bit pointy (boobjob?) - Upper arm could be a bit more more convex towards left - Handle/shaft of scythe seems much too short (out of proportion) - Upper leg is a bit too long - Lower leg is too long in proportion to upper leg (curvature should start right below knee)

She's got some pretty long legs there. A good tip I came across for hands - they're the same size of the face. Just keep working on the anatomy and this could turn out really awesome.
