      The Mysterious Stranger

Has anyone here read the Mysterious Stranger, by Mark Twain? He didn't allow it to be published until after his death because it was so controversial at the time. It has a lot to do with God, and angels, and dreaming and reality... and it's really profound and stuff, so after you read it you might want to go do something fun and shallow that doesn't require coherent thought... and just chill out for a while. But I digress. You really should read it. It's an amazingly good book... or, at the very least, it might spark some interesting conversation.

*is bored because no one's online late at night*

So, um... anyone want to spark some interesting conversation?

I found an internet version of it here; put up by the University of Virginia library.

Just finished reading through it. Very excellent, insightful, and relevant despite Mark Twain writing it about one hundred years ago. Thanks for pointing this one out, Rain.
