Pulse rate test--Music

I was interested in something and decided to test it out, but I want to see how your results turn out. What I did was took my pulse rate before-the control- 79. The I listened to relaxing music- Violin concerto in E minor - 76 Then I listened to metal-Bone Marrow- 88 Include the genre of the music and the name of the song/artist. I want to see what you results are, because some of the factors that might change this are your daily activities, stress level, etc. This isn't for school, I'm not using this information anywhere else, I'm just interested. If you don't know how to get your pulse, put two fingers-index and middle- near your jawline of your neck. Eventually you will find the vein. Count how many times it pulses for 20 seconds, then multiply that by 4.

my heart rate was pretty stable. of course there are times when i listen to a specific part of a song and i can tell my heart rate is higher than normal... 54 - resting bpm 62 - dreamtime lullaby - bluetech (psybient/psydm) 58 - intention craft - evan marc (downtempo/ambient techno) 64 - the heckler - primus (primus!) 56 - entanglement - irepress (metal - instrumental) interesting... not very consistent w/ what you might expect, although the irepress song doesn't have a very fast tempo.

I tested 1 song only Envy - Heaven rd.2 - 86 bpm

You need a control I made a mistake in the OP, It's 20 seconds times 3 or 15 seconds times 4. Tested it with my friends and they all had signifigant changes from soft mysic to metal.
