I have an idea for a water craft but I am unsure as to how to go about getting a prototype built (hell, I'd settle for a mini model). I have a very good friend who's helping out but I don't want to overburden them. I also lack hard blueprints on the craft seeing as it's still largely in the concept stage. My knowledge in the mechanics, electronics etc. required are little to none. What do you suggest? |

Search for machine shops nearby, and drop by to ask them all those questions. I'm sure they'll know. |

Use Autodesk or something like that to work out the physics. You should work out all of the details before doing a prototype. |
