      Why do people never apologize after they walk into me? Instead they give you the dirty look making it like it was me that walked into them. I just want to punch them when they do that.

      NYCis a rude city, and I guess you have to learn how to give them a dirty look with interest back. Thats just how it is.

      The attitude in New York is totally different from any other state I've been to. One of the first things you learn as a kid is to never talk to strangers. Nobody tries to be friendly and would rather go on with what they're doing. Ignorance is bliss in New York. I was actually surprised to go to other states and realize how much nicer everybody is, it's like a breath of fresh air (literally, too).
