I suffer from being skinny I eat really unhealthily and all fatty stuff yet I don't gain any weight. I must have a metabolism so fast you can't see it pass. |

The key is to expand your stomach so that you require more food. Eating lots of sweets and chocolate usually helps. |

I play alot of football and i have always heard from my coach that eating late at night can help you gain weight. So if your out at like 1 in the morning or something give it a try, maybe it will work. I can't guarantee anything because i don't know the science behind it if there is any. |

Don't eat fatty food, eat healthy. Better to be skinny and defined then flabby. Go to a weight room and work out, it's the only way to gain muscle. It's slow going, but it works. |

Eat six or more meals a day instead of only three, and try to eat as many carbs as you can, so focus on eating a lot of bread and pasta based foods. This is what I have been advised anyway, as I'm in the same predicament, I really want to gain weight because I feel I'm too skinny, but I just can't. Alternatively to that, you can pickup weight-gainers at health stores, they can be very helpful as well. |

I would avoid eating tons of junk because of various health reasons. Maybe you could try going onto some bodybuilder sites and see what they do to get big. I would say eating alot of healthy food and lifting weights would be the best way. You say you tried working out, but how long did you do it and what did you do? Heavy weights and fewer reps would help put on some size. I find that with lifting weights you won't notice anything for the first little while and then even if you stop like almost a week later you will notice a difference for some reason. You definitely want to be putting on muscle and not fat though and thats accomplished with hard work rather than fatty foods. |

Get proteins. They sell those in every big market. It comes in a big bottle, like 3 kg or more. And than later when you got them...go to fitness and train. I use to do that but I need more motivation. |

i have this problem too im 6.1 and 160 lbs and i would like to be bigger. i eat alot of food and have 3 meals a day with snacks ,i live out in the country so i have steak almost everynight (my deer) along with potato's, veggies ect. |

Hrm, so otherwise wait a while or eat protein and stuff. Thanks guys! It's not that I want to be like a body builder or anything, hell I don't even need that much muscles. Just to be at an average size is good enough for me. So what are the names of protein shakes and stuff? I've heard of them but don't know what they're called? |

I'm actually the same way. I can eat all day, and do nothing, and never put on weight. I have a really fast metabolism, and I've tried slowing it down, but I don't actually know how. I'm just glad I'm not the only one. Hopefully mine will slow down too. |

Im about in the same boat as you. Im 5'11 and 160 lb, which sounds good, until I realize all of that weight is in my leg and hip muscles... muscle, not fat. I really cant gain muscle or fat on my upper body, and working out didnt even give me 5lb after 6 months. Im only 19 though, so it will probably start happening. |

You wanna gain weight properly, work out and eat right. Don't eat shit, don't snack all the time, etc. etc. Once you gain fat cells they'll never turn back to normal. Sure, you can minimize the fat cells but they'll always be there. |
