I'm a teen (18) and have been having mood swings for most of my teenage life. Mostly I'll be feeling depressed, and have a brief phase of feeling great (a few hours - a couple of days) before returning to depression again. It's got a little better as I've got older, as I feel as if I'm become more stable with age. |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
I pretty much second all of the above. Your swings don't sound too out of the ordinary and you'll likely grow out of them. In the meantime, greet them with curious attention, as an oppurtunity to learn more about your own mind and human experience. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
