Broken Arm (sorry if it's in the wrong spot)

Hey, yesterday I broke my arm and they put it in a splint. I was wondering if that would affect my Lucid Dreams any.
I have returned, but I'm not the same

      Sorry to hear

      Hey...
First of all, sorry about your arm...
And I don't think there's any way it could affect your LDing...
If it's a big issue in your life, you might dream about it...
In my opinion start doing reality checks when looking or thinking about your arm...
      Might help you...
      Hope it does man...

The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

How does this go in "Attaining lucidity"?

Well, I'm sorry to hear about that. Hope it doesn't iterfere with your FPS playing

If you're interested, I've actually heard of people using lucid dreams for healing in these kinds of situations. I believe there's a part about it in EWOLD. I don't thunk it will impede your efforts, though.

Unless I'm mistaken, he's asking if it will make attaining lucidity any harder for him.

Lol, strong timing. I broke my elbow two days ago. If anything it has helped, because I can take a dose of vicodin before bed and it really helps!

But as long as we can find a way to comfortably lie down, I don't think it should impede our efforts.

      Oh noes!

Question sounds irrelevant, but which arm is it?

It won't effect your LDs at all, but it could be used to positively affect it if you try. I have a broken leg right now, and it hasn't made my dreams any different, as a matter of fact, most of the time, I'm still walking in my dreams, castless. Sometimes I'll just walk on my cast, which I can't do IRL. Chances are you will still be able to use your right arm in your dreams, and that could be a great dream sign.

If you notice that you don't dream of having the cast (which you probably won't), then you can use that as a dream sign, and before you go to bed (or randomly throughout the day as well) assert that if you don't have the splint, then you are dreaming. If you have the splint, but can still use your arm normally (it happens) than you are dreaming. It can be extremely useful in MILDs if you always dream you don't have the splint on. Then you can use "I will do an RC if the splint isn't on my right arm" as a mantra.

Helped me out. Try to see the positive side

I've had a car accident and survived luckily with my right upperleg broken but ever since i haven't been able to recall nearly any dreams. But i lost all my memory too from like 2 hours before the accident happened, and the first 4-5 days in the hospital, i didn't even remember that my parents visited me all the time lol. I did manage to attain lucidity twice though but unable to remember what my dreams were about, so for some reason it is affecting me.
