      Strange WBTB morning

This morning I had quite a strange experience. I was trying WBTB, which has been succesful for reaching lucidity for me a few times before. But this time was different. I did everything the way I usually do it: get up, get something to eat, read some and then go back to sleep while doing MILD (repeating a mantra).

As I was falling asleep, a few things happened to my body. First of all, I had the sensation of tumbling or falling. I have this regularly, and it has actually helped me get lucid once, so I didn't find this strange. However, I also felt a pulsating pressure on my stomach. The 'waves' of this pressure became increasingly intense, almost to the point that I wanted to stop falling asleep. Simultaneously with the waves stomach pressure, there was pressure on my ears, also pulsating in a slow tempo. This all was paired with a even more intense orgasm-like feeling in my genital area. I've had sleep paralysis quite often before, but this was different. I was not paralyzed at any time during all this.

I decided to let all this happen and see if I could enter the dream from the waking state. At a certain point I felt tiles below my hands, or at least something hard and cold. I also started hearing some sounds. However, before any visuals started to appear, I slowly started fading back to the waking state.

Now this didn't just happen once, it at happened at least 3 or 4 times. I just couldn't fall asleep.

Anyway, I justed wanted to share this experience. Has anyone experienced similar things? I'd be interested to know more

Woah well i mean, the pressure waves on your stomach makes is sound alot like SP but, going to your feeling of an orgasm type feeling, i get this once in a while when im trying to do SP or WILD.
I never really questioned it too much.

As for the waking up, were you calm during all 3/4 of these experiences?
Were you focusing too much on what was going on, or your physical body?

I was pretty calm, yes. I was focusing on the sensations in my body, or at least observing them, because I wanted to stay concious to enter the dream lucidly. I guess this is probably why I wouldn't fall asleep. It was as if my mind knew that I was concious, and therefore not 'letting me' start dreaming.

Yeah I guess so. I'm pretty happy with doing WBTB+MILD though, so I don't really mind for now. As long as it doesn't happen anytime I try to fall asleep after MILD.
