      Failed WILD, signs are hopeful.

Last night was my real attempt at a WILD. It failed. But, there are some results I liked:

I was able to get relaxed. I accomplished this by breathing into my pillow loudly, listening to it. When I breathed out, I said, "I will go lucid" over and over and I became remarkably relaxed. However, I did my best with this right when I went to bed so I was afraid of being in like a ninty minute limbo.

When I woke up after four hours (yeah, wrong time, but hey, I tried. :-p) I had difficulty going back to sleep due to noise, and the light outside, so I will have to try it by going ot bed earlier.

Anyway, signs are looking good, I think.

I think I had a near lucid experience too. In my dream I was swinging across these metal bars that went from one building to the next. A dream character warned me not to fall, that is was a long drop. I looked down, and I was in between the tops of high rises. I thought, I'm perfectly safe, and I somehow forced the metal bars to change into soft rubber, and I continued playing, then the dream ended.

I think when I looked down, I had a sense that I was in a dream world and was indeed ok, even if I fell. I think to prove it to myself I changed the metal to rubber.

Seems like a positive sign anyway.
