To scratch, or not to scratch - 56% Yes 43% TIE

[SIZE=2]To scratch, or not to scratch - That\'s the question!

Everytime I try to relax in bed, and attain lucidity while going to fall asleep, trying to WILD or not... .

Some say: "Scratch away and you are back to business in no time"

It is anoying, so I lose concentration and I scratch, spoiling the experience.

Sometimes, before to attempt a reality check, I try to believe I\'m on a SP but I dont\'t try to check to give more time for things to stabilize. But then again... here comes the itch.

If I let it go itching... some times it gets less intense... but stil bothers me.

What should I do? To scratch or not to scratch?

Please, leave your comment. Sometimes, many viewers but not so many replies!

If I have an itch I don't scratch it. Just don't think about it and it will go away.

do you have a bunch of zits? or like do you wash your face enough... wash your face before you go to bed or something... might be like a dehydrated thing where it only makes it worse from the water!? OH NOOOEEESSS!! well lets see... then maybe you like lay a wet towel on your face and put you head in the microwave or something warm and it absorbs all the water and your healed... for like a week, maybe... if all that speculatin was the problem.

Umm... No offense, Plopable, but you don't have to make 3 different posts in a row. Instead you can make one post and divide it into three sections. Or you can hit the "edit" button if you have something to add immediately after you posted

Just passivly think of your itch and it often goes away much like your passively thinking on the images

personally, i find i have to scratch, or change position if i'm getting uncomfortable, otherwise thats all i can focus on, and i cant relax and wait for SP and the images to start. it can be frustrating, last night i laid down, got nice and relaxed, and felt myself starting to drift off, when my hand itched. so i scratched-then my stomach itched. i scratched that, k now back to relaxing....then my toe itched! i was like grrrrrrrrr come ON! but if i dont scratch and just lay there, all i can think about is scratching. :/ eventually things stopped itching tho...i think part of it is a mental think-its dark and quiet, and you're relaxed, so you notice little itches and sensations that you might not otherwise.

Screw that, just prevent the itching from all together. Take a shower, hydrate your body with aloe vera or some lotion, and if you have bad stratch areas just put anti=itching cream on it...

Your screwed if you scratch it or don't scratch it... so prevent it all together.

i do shower and hydrate my body, when i say i have an itch i dont mean a dry skin itch. i mean for example the blanket is just barely touching my shoulder and making it itch/tickle, so i just need to scratch it for a sec, or a few strands of my hair end up laying on my cheek and itching me...things like that, things that. things you dont notice really when yr awake and doing something or watching t v, but when its dark and silent and yr trying to go to sleep, that hair on your cheek can feel magnified about 50 times and you just GOTTA scratch it

but yeah, i just scratch and then try to relax again, cuz if i dont, like i said, i'll stop thinking about lucid dreaming and start thinking about how much i wanna scratch 8)
