trying to get SP without some kind of SP first will prove useless for most people |
|
I began looking into and experimenting with lucid dreaming or achieving lucidity a little less than a week ago. Seems like really cool stuff. I'm a computer programmer and often referred to as a "hacker", so I find all of this incredibly fascinating. The mind is for sure a computer system, and the information I've been reading regarding lucid dreaming is the closest thing I've ever seen to a "manual for the brain". |

I'd swear the SP was right there within a few seconds and if I didn't get slapped in the face at that moment I'd have probably been able to roll out of bed or stand up as soon as I guess when I knew it was 100% set in. |

why'd she slap you |

But for some people it works I, for one, can get into a state of SP without pre-sleep fairly quickly. There's always this threshold to get over though. When I get to bed (and I want this to happen), there's this numbness setting in, which goes on to the point where it becomes kinda uncomfortable. If I can get myself past that point without moving it's full on SP straight away |
