How do you improve your perception in a LD?

I'm having a problem 'seeing' things in my LD. Everything is very basic and non-detailed and sometimes as if I'm going blind. I'm fully aware of where I am, and I concentrate on the details but then everything just 'fades away' and I wake up or go into a new scene. It sorta feels like I'm half-thinking, half-dreaming.
Basically I'm asking how do you make everything more 'realistic' and stable (and keep it that way!)

You have to get all your senses involved in ther dream. Once you realize your dreaming, try use all your senses in about 30 seconds. Or as fast as possible. This will get your more invloved in the dream and thus allowing it to stabablize better and possibly last longer.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
