almost 2 weeks with no LD, any advice?

its been 2 weeks of trying every night, and im doing the right things, eating the food, im having long vivid dreams but doesnt matter how much i prepare for it, i always wake up realising i didnt go lucid, with almost 100% dream recall and its frusterating now.

i know some people might thing maybe im trying too hard or getting voer excited but thats not the case for some reason that realisation just doesnt come to me that im in a dream. i just go through the dreams just as if its normal life, and nothing out of the ordinary happens.

now im goint to attempt WBTB mainly because ill be getting up to watch a soccer game meaning ill be up for almost hours but itll mean by the time game finishes my eyes will be just about to close because thats how sleepy i will be as im assuming id have like 4 hours of sleep before hand.

      any advice??????

Average time to achieve Lucid Deam using only RC and dream journal, mantras (I guess you are doing it) is about 1-2 months after RCing finally gets you in your dream. So why waste your time? Try WBTB and WILD now. And try to aoit direct light when waking up for WBTB. Don't be up for too long. I don't even get out of my bed, because I would have trouble falling asleep, so I woudn't reccomend watching TV or something.

*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

Deep relaxation exercises and visual meditation at bedtime. Visualize something peaceful while keeping anchored to something in the conscious world. There is no technique that is even 50% successful so you will fail to LD more times then you will LD. But when you do LD.. look out! Good luck to you.

Just don't lose motivation and take it easier, don't think about it as something difficult, because it's not
My first dry spell was 3 weeks long. Then I had 4 LDs in 2 weeks. Now I haven't had LD for 10 days, so I expecting it to come any time soon

but the OBE is freaky specially when your in the state where you just woke up and your sort of conciouse and then you come out of your body. i still want to know what the point of OBE is as it definetly doesnt seem fun, it was the wierdest moment of my life iv had it before as well but by accident or when i was sick.

      i just want lucid dreams

Noone has proved that OBE and Lucid Dream are not one and the same. According to Mike Raduga it's the same state he calls "Phase". I believe in that too. You can reach OBE more easily thou, because most of the techhniques described in the post "Instant WILD..." are for OBE. I would reccomend you reading AS MANY POSTS AS YOU CAN. Try to know as much theory as your brain can hold. xD Than go for practise. ;D

He states that LD, OBE and astral projections are not far from each other and people using his methods say that same techniques work for LD and OBE. As I understood sometimes it's even a matter of choice.

yeah. I guess so. But isn't it true that with OBE you can visit Real - time places?

Yeah, I've heard you can. But I haven't had OBE yet, so I know little about it, can only trust other people's words...

well everytime iv expriences OBE it felt like i was in danger and some dark spirit was trying to kills me, or i saw dead people walking around and coming towards me where as is LD feels like your in paradise.

your right about having diffrent theories thats what i always do anyway.

so from what i undrestand the diffrence between a WILD and OBE is instead of you rolling out of your body you stick to the focusing on images in your head or undernieth your eye lid? it happened to me couple of weeks ago after i woke up and closed my eyes images just appeared in my head, so i sort of just jumped into the images and dream began and i was lucid. that was WILD i assume?

      Sounds like WILD to me.

I hear a lot of scary stuff about WILD and SP that I haven't even attempted it.

Really? I enjoy sp. Even thou I enter my LD almost without feeling it, I enjoy it when I do. It's awesome. When you understand that these things are made by your mind, they become funny. ;D I can't imagin LDing without WILD/WBTB. ;D

i actually enjoyed WILD as it didnt need you to remember bieng in a dream, and it saved alot of time, as usually im well into a dream when i go lucid. i wish i could to WILD everynight and be lucid.

if that scares you dont try OBE

You should really check out WHOLE forum if you don't know what SP is. ;D You have lack of information. Having only theory and no practise is terrible, but practising and having no theory is almost guaranted fail. ;D

No, I'm gonna try WILDing, just waiting for the right time

well i read the theories and i take from it what i think will work for me as diffrent things work for diffrent people, and the theories iv read iv undrestood the slangs in them and iv practiced them with sucess, just because if someone doesnt remember every little slang on these forum regardless of how common they are doesnt mean lack of information so i dont know what your on about. im prety sure SP and RC were the only 2 i had forgotten what they were
