Well, i attempted my first WILD last night. (Slept, about 5 hours later my cell phone alarm awoke me. After awhile, I started to relax. I started saying "1, I am Dreaming. 2, I am dreaming.. " so on and so forth.

I also thought about the next step, and soon enough, my whole body felt numb, and I couldn't move.. (sleep paralysis).

I continued counting... all of a sudden, everything just went pitch black. I remembered in the tutorial, that opening your "dream eyelids" when it becomes pitchblack ends up with you seeing your dream.

Well, that's what happened, I started seeing images, my dream etc.. and said, "hey, I'm dreaming, I'm lucid" ( or so i thought) However, this got me excited and the whole dream vanished.


Are there any tips on staying calm? Is it just practice and getting used to Lucid dreams? Help!
