Thread: The only way

The only way I am able to have a lucid dream is to drink lots of water before I go to bed. This makes me wake up really early in the morning cos im BUSTING for the loo.
I go back to bed i do the WILD method and think of a dream sign and it works nearly every time.
I have tried nearly every method on this forum and FINALLY found one that WORKS!!!

Hope this helps anyone who was DESPERATE for a lucid dream like me.

Thanks for the advice! I am similar, however, I have to get up every night around 3:30 am, not because I drank so much water before bed, but because I cannot make it through the night anymore

I've just recently moved back in with my parents and the reason i wake up in the morning , after only 3 to 4 hours everynight is because my freakin dog ( he is soo cute) barks at every fuckin thing.. Soo annoying, wakes me up everyday, but it helps me to wake up and WILD or Mild AS long as he stops barking, otherwise i go insane..

Poor you!! Why cant you make it through the night? I can sympathise because i am often woke up in the night by my sisters elephant snoring.

I hear ya Seeker. It sucks having trouble sleeping. Especially when you're goin for LD's.

My problem is common for men my age. Almost everyone I know my age has to get up for a pee break in the middle of the night. From what I understand, it only gets worse.

But hey, it is a good chance to practice WILD and MILD!

I don’t seem to dream at all at night or at least I don't remember them. If I have things to do the next day I try and put it off for the afternoon because if I go back to sleep in the morning, thats when I have most of my dreams.

I can basically only make it through an entire 8hours of sleep if I take melatonin or its raining outside, otherwise i'll always wake up, I think I just need to put things over my window to make it completely dark, that would help a lot but i'm soo lazy....
