But I wanna get this straight. During I vild it is normal for people not to hallucinate or anything right? I don't want any encounters with this so I just want to confirm.

It depends what you mean by VILD because there are different meanings. Visually Incubated Lucid Dream: This is a DILD where you visualize before bed. You most likely wont hallucinate anything. Visual Induced Lucid Dream: This is a WILD. It has different names but they all mean about the same thing. With this technique you visualize when you are doing a WILD. You will most likely hallucinate doing this.

A VILD is really just A MILD using visualization. When we visualize we are using the same part of our brains (the secondary visual cortices) as when we dream. Go forth and visualize!
