i fooled myself again

This morning i dreamed that i was writing a check. In place of the account number were the words 'reality check'. This is by far the worst dream fooling i have ever had. Why, oh Why does the brain do this?

I think that your subcounsience like mine ha a twisted sense of humour, maybe its amused by the fact that heres a simple sign and you miss it, welcome to my world at least you didn't throw out teh piece of paper thinkign you wrote down the wrogn account. one observation is funny how you were writtign a check (as in check your reality) with the words Reality check. thats a double whammy

Yeah I now that I remember more dreams Ive noticed that too...I was like having this huge fight with my mom and she said something like ''This must be a dream, hes never like this'' and soon afterwards i woke up...

Yeah! Same thing happened to me. I know that in dreams you just cant write correctly, but still, a couple of nights ago I was in a dream and I was trying to write something and each time I looked at it again it seemed crooked or just something else. I was so pissed off in the dream, so I tried writing it and writing it again like 6 times and I never realized that I was dreaming!

ahah! these are really furhunny !!! sorry to hear that your brains are so slow at catching on sometimes!! mine is too and i hate it. i think the best thing to do is stop trying to look so hard for dream signs and use your emotions to tell you that youre dreaming - like in real life when youre upset or scared, say 'i hope im dreaming' and really hope it, and in your dream this might trigger lucidity? it worked for me afew times..

some time ago i dreamt that i was standing in this nice steel-elevator. with a guy with a briefcase, and he was going to check out the building with me, and i could feel that the elevator started to go upwards, but the lcd display over the door was jumping up and down like crazy, and the guy asked me why it did that, and i just said : "it's probably broken, because i can feel that the elevator is going upwards.", and then he said: "yeah, we have to get this fixed..".. and i was a little mad when i woke up
