      My method :)

I was experimenting with a new techniqe last night and found that this works quite well.

Step 1 - Relax and get into comfortable position i usually use the "gravity position". http://www.energybreath.com/Pages/brain2.html

Step 2 - Repeat the following: "I will be aware that i am dreaming upon entering a dream."

Step 3 - repeat that until you fall asleep. Works best if you have mastered dream recall first, if you are still learning that repeat this: "i will remember all my dreams and wakeup after each dream"

And once you fall asleep you should find yourself dreaming and for some random unknown reason you will already know you are dreaming!

Hope it works for you guys!

whats the gravity position?... im a little skeptical about that method , seems like its to much to ask to your subconscious but ill try it anyways...

      Thanks for the post Jigsaw.

I ordered this book when I first read your post a couple of weeks ago and have almost finished reading it now. It's incredible, and is full of great ideas that are beneficial to lucid dreaming.

I tried the Image Streaming technique given in the book one night and 3 hours later found myself way up on a mountain looking out on a beautiful scene, sort of like a remote viewing, fully aware of what I was doing and able to control it.

The ideas I've learned from this book will now be a regular part of my meditations.

      Thanks...

I tend to do that position once in awile as I am a very flexible person who gets uncomfortable all the time. I've actually woken up like that before when I used to sleepwalk.

I don't like to stay in it for more then 15 minutes though.. the bloodrush kinda gives me a headache after awile. Though, i might give it a try one night...
      Just keep moving…

I know what you mean Unknown. I have been trying the gravity position tonight while doing the Image Streaming technique from the book, which is mainly a procedure of just watching the thoughts and describing them outloud when they come to mind, and at first the position seemed a little uncomfortable because of all of the blood rushing to my head. But now after doing it a while I have gotten used to it, and have produced several WILDS using it as the position tends to keep me awake.

Wow! This method worked for me last night! I didn't do the "gravity posision" (whatever that is) I just layed down and I became lucid in a dream. It wasn't very vivid but I remember some lady screaming "RAPE! RAPE!" while I was in sombodys house with my brother. When I went outside to help this lady, the guy who was trying to rape her got inside of his van and tried to run me over. Then he drove off. Good method. Thanks alot

It actually works...I did that yesterday after I said to myself 4 hundred times that I was dreaming..., but it didn't last too long, for after I realized it all became black and I didn't see a thing and suddenly I began to see something bright...anyway it's MILD it isn't a new method.

i just can't get myself to beleive techniques like telling yourself you will have a lucid dream can possibly work. The only valid technique in my opinion is WILD. but then again, i fear change.
