Staying lucid longer, by staying in a common place?

The other day I was thinking hard. The school I attended when I was a child is of great importance to me it is one of the most beutiful schools ever, situated in the Adelaide hills if you come from Australia you might of heard of the region. Anyway as well as being situated on a great landscape it is still a meeting place for me and my friends about 3-4 times a week, we are now 18 and over. At the school we usually meet up kick the footy, sometimes have a few bongs. The school holds many childhood memories as well as new ones. I've been smoking for two years now sometimes I go through patches where I don't smoke for for 10-15 days, gives me an oportunity to get back to focussing on dreaming once in a while. Anyway when I smoke I can sometimes turn into a really deep thinker, sometimes bad thoughts where I will literally rip apart my life and find every single thing thats wrong and could be changed, but others good as well. The incredable euphoric thought that occured on me last week at the school was, why not try to focuss all my attention in having my dreams at the school, it could be some what a spiritual training ground, the importance it holds to me it self makes it sacred to me. I think it would be great for being lucid becasue I know every corner inside out 200 Metres x 200 Metres. It would mean that my mind would have to do less work creating objects becasue once I knew I was in a certain spot in the school I would be so sure as to what was around the next corner it would be a peace of cake for my mind to create. Would be a good place to develop a high level skill of lucidity. Share what you believe on the topic, do you think this would increase your skill having a common place?, and does anyone have any places this sacred to them? That's a great idea! I have my middle school as my highly recurring dream sign and I'm 99.9 times out of a 100 become lucid when I have a dream about it. Particularly the math and history classes. Sometimes I have dreams of taking tests there. It is quite a lot of fun when you can just put the test down, backtalk the teacher for making me take this bullshit dream test and walk out of the class! Basically every night since I started getting these dreams I reminded myself of the fact that I'm in a different country and not in school anymore! and it worked... I used my math class extensively for dream reentry, and it proved extremely effective! What I did was: pick a spot in math class, quickly shape the darkness around me to assume the form of desks, walls and so on. Soon they became more and more real. I wouldnt say the school was anywhere near sacred to me but I spent 9 years in the same building, so I know it very well... Quite a lot of my lucid experiences happened there and I indeed noticed heightened level of control - I can teleport to another room, turn the whole school upside down, climb on the ceilings and do a bunch of other stuff. The only limitation I've encountered so far is: one of the girls I knew refused to have sex on the cafedra table I thought it was an awesome idea !

Hey Griffon mate, nice job there. I'm from SA too, I went to boarding school in Adelaide and I kinda know what you mean... Living in the boarding house 24/7 and mucking around with all my mates gives me so many awesome memories and yeah it's like my own sacred ground. Unfortunatley I am not good enough at LDing to be able to use it as a 'training ground' although I really like the idea... I know it like the back of my hand, and seeing as the boarding house was on the school grounds I also know the whole school grounds perfectly too (all the days of sneaking away for a smoke) haha. It would almost be like a huge playground you can try everything with... awesome. I did try thinking of walking around the boarding house whenever I do a WILD to try and draw me into a dream but it hasn't worked yet... great idea tho.

Yea im not good enough at LDing yet either to make it my training ground but I think lucid dreaming skill would progress alot quicker if you could always go to a common place.
