      Help becoming Lucid?

Hey I need some help here. I have only had 2 lucid dreams but in both I just found out I was dreaming because the landscape was to dreamy I did not need to rc. In saying that although I was aware that I was sleeping my awarness was not at it's best and I did not think as straight as I would in waking life. Anyway I have tried mild and wild techniques but nothing seems to get me lucid. Please help I need to find a technique that will work for me.

I always recommend visualization (of a dream scenario) combined with deep muscle relaxation techniques. Add to this with a sense of positiveness that you will have a lucid dream.... and keep a dream journal (or, in my case, a digital recorder) It takes practice but is well worth it! Good luck to you !

well that is 2 LD's better than most people. Sounds like maybe you would benefit from trying DILD, and more specifically all-day-awareness. Usually I don't realize I am dreaming from a random rc, but I rather realize I am dreaming, and rc to confirm. Practicing all day awareness will increase the frequency at which you realize that you are dreaming whilst asleep, and also it should increase the vividness f your dreams.

The important thing if you are serious about this, is not to half ass things. If you don't follow all the steps of a technique there is no guarantee it will work effectively. Keep at it, it gets better
