biggest dream sign..NOT BEING IN MY ROOM

for some reason i am lucid in my dreams from beginning to end for about 3 to 4 dreams every night. the only problem is i rarely ask myself if i am dreaming or not. i am comepletly awake mentally but i just go onlong with however WIERD and whacky my dreams may be. LIKE IVE BEEN FLYING AND DIDNT KNOW I WAS DREAMING. it makes sense that just leaving my house should be enough of a sign that im dreaming, since i rarely go anywhere. for the love of God why wont it connect mentally????

i know i need to do lots of reality checks daily. but i do damnit. anyway when i woke up today i tried to do WILD. can someone tell me if im on the right track? i was too excited to actually fall back asleep cuz i wanted to try wild again... .... i almost fell asleep again and saw like a grainy white environment but couldnt transition. is that part of WILD?

You say that you are lucid.. Isn't lucid defined as actually knowing your dreaming?

What you mean is, when you dream, no matter how crazy the scenario is, you still seem to believe it is authentic.

Although, this is a great thing for when your actually in a lucid dream (flying will seem so normal, for example ). The negative side of course, is obviously, you have a hard enough time figuring out if you are dreaming or not.

Many others, and myself have the same problem.. I guess its beginners bad-luck.

This morning, after waking up, I thought I'd take another little nap (around 7:30AM). From that, I remember dreaming that I was on a rooftop and I thought "I think I'm dreaming!" I then looked at my hands (remembering this as a reality check), to my amazement, my hands were not how I thought they should be (they were bigger and darker (more like my dad's hands than mine). I then relized it was a dream.
I cannot recall what happened next, wheather my mind accepted this as reality and not a dream, or that I was so excited that the dream simply ended.

Goodluck overcoming this small hurdle of yours.
I always thought WILD would be the best way to lucid dream, as it will bypass the whole "reality check" and "wake up from dreaming" parts.

i just woke up from trying WILD! i am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i woke up after writing down 2 full dreams. i was laying there thinking this is never gonna work. i felt 100% awake and somehow i could force my brain to move closer to dreaming by pushing with it....hard to describe. my point is. as soon as i did this i felt a tingle in my arms and i felt my mind moving somewhere....thats when i woke up cuz my heart was racing so fast i got scared and stayed awake to now post this. is the heart racing thing normal? i got a little spooked cuz im a stoner. HELP!!!?????????????????????????????? if i can get past this hurdle theres no reason i cant be lucid anytime!!!! exciting!

i dunno about the lucid term exactly. i know that during some dreams i am very aware and fully making choices on my own in real time.....but not aware of the fact that its not real....hmmmm.

hey jay dawg. Your experiences sound like when I try to WILD. I have recently noticed that when I WILD I now reach a new stage which is like my head is trying to reach a level above my body. Its hard to describe.
At first I get the sensation that my "head" is lift out my body and my hearing sounds like I am under water or under a pillow (muffled). However, this sensation goes rather quickly as it feels like my head is going back into my body. After a while this happens again, but abit slower. I wait a shorter time. Same thing happens again, but even slower. This means that the muffled stage lasts longer and longer each time. However, after a while I either give up because nothing else happens or my body falls asleep.

During the past month this stage has changed even more; When I enter the "stage" I am able to "push" it and the feeling feels stronger and stronger and at most times I am able to see clear images. These images are usually of a street with my view focused on a person (taking up nearly my whole vision). Everytime, I get the same image but with a new person and background. It looks like I should be entering a LD, but it's not seeming to happen

the heart racing is a good sign, to be honest. My heart rate went through the roof when I first started WILD. However, as you get used to the experience it wont go so mad hehe.

just open your eyes! Or just try to move your body with lots of will. It's easy to break out of SP than to get into it, i think :S

in my one and only lucid dream, at the end...I knew I was dreaming...but It's like I didn't care. I wouldn't bother doing crazy stuff.
