      Confusion strikes back! Help me :S

      Hello all,

      I've been having these dreams where I'm trying to get lucid but never do as I keep believing that I am awake. I've even done reality checks in my dreams and watched them fail!

      Last night I dreamed that I was on a farm looking for a way to become lucid. Eventually a dream character suggested that I try a dream herb so went on a quest to find the best dream herb and found it. Unfortunately my dream ended.

      I only started doing reality checks a two days ago, is it possible that they are already affecting my dreams?

      It is entirely possible, though you're most likely performing your reality checks without really questioning your reality. You should not perform a reality check "because it's been a while since you've done one" or because you just remembered to. If you remember about a reality check, you should first think "Am I dreaming?" Look around for clues that you are/aren't, THEN RC.
